The deal

Material Logic Studio is software for reviewing, refining, and packaging creative work. Free Preview is available without a paid license; watermarked previews are part of it by design. Paid access is licensed per person on the terms shown before purchase.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create an account, buy a plan, or participate in optional product research or commercial insights. A parent or legal guardian may manage an account where local law permits.

Your license

Software licensing terms are detailed in the Software License Agreement; use rules for voices and likenesses in the Acceptable Use policy. Both are part of these terms.

• A license key is for one person. Install it on your own devices freely; don't share, resell, or publish it.
• Term licenses expire at the end of their term (with a short grace period) unless renewed.
• Licensed installs verify with our server periodically; extended offline use beyond the grace window pauses licensed features until the next check succeeds. Verification uses the license or signed-in account, an activated-device reference, and timestamps; it does not transmit creative files.
• Voice Starter is monthly only and includes 60 finished local voice minutes per paid period, one active consented personal voice profile, standard local quality, and unlimited marked audition previews. It has no automatic overage or included cloud credit.
• Single Studio includes the one product you select at purchase: Photo, Video, or Voice. Full Studio includes all three products.
• Month-to-month plans renew monthly until canceled. Three-month and annual options remain unavailable until their fixed-term or recurring behavior is approved. When offered, Checkout will show the exact total, access term, renewal behavior, and cancellation terms before acceptance. Monthly-equivalent figures and savings badges are comparisons, not the amount charged.
• Pay-per-export purchases authorize one eligible clean export. Local previews remain available under the Free Preview rules.
• Your Checkout summary identifies the applicable price catalog and term. We do not change the amount of an existing Stripe Price. Any future price applies only as lawfully disclosed; existing recurring subscribers remain on their promised Price unless they clearly accept a change.

Cloud wallet

Cloud processing uses a prepaid wallet with a hard stop at zero. Manual refills are customer-chosen one-time charges between $5 and $500; the exact amount is shown before Stripe Checkout. Wallet credit is issued only after confirmed payment and is adjusted for refunds or disputes.

Paid Video Studio and Full Studio periods include $10 of promotional credit for eligible supported cloud video processing, rendering, or upscaling. At the current $3 per output minute rate, one job rounded once in ten-second blocks can use up to 200 seconds (3 minutes 20 seconds). This benefit is not cash, refundable value, or transferable balance; it is spent before purchased wallet funds and expires at the next paid-period boundary without rollover. It does not include arbitrary cloud video generation. Production availability remains subject to validated provider cost and technical acceptance.

Optional automatic top-up is off by default. If you opt in, you choose a low-balance trigger, refill amount, and maximum automatic-refill spend per calendar month, and the exact rules are shown before consent. Stripe stores the payment method, not Material Logic. Authentication may be required by Stripe or your bank. You can disable automatic top-up immediately from your account. Cooldowns, monthly caps, and failure controls apply; repeated failures pause the feature rather than creating a refill loop.

Your work is yours

Everything you make with the product belongs to you. We claim no rights over your assets, exports, or voice packs. Watermarked previews exist so unlicensed exports are identifiable as previews; removing watermarks to pass previews off as licensed output is a violation of these terms.

Your responsibilities

• Only process people's likenesses and voices with their consent. The product's consent-based design is not a substitute for your own legal obligations.
• Don't use the product to create deceptive, defamatory, or unlawful content, or to violate platform policies you distribute to.
• You are responsible for rights to any material you import.

The practical disclaimers

The software is provided as-is. Automated checks are assistance, not guarantees — you approve your own work. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Housekeeping

We can update these terms; material changes are emailed to licensed customers and take effect 14 days after notice. The agreement is between you and LibraSide Technologies, LLC, and is governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, USA. Questions: admin@materiallogix.com.
